It’s a new year, with new coupons! After a long holiday break, the Save coupon insert is coming back strong in your Sunday newspaper this weekend. And SmartSource is… also back.
While Save will contain dozens of coupons, SmartSource is kicking off the year with one of its smallest-ever editions, and certainly its smallest-ever first-of-the-year edition. Times have certainly changed from a dozen years ago, when SmartSource began a new year with a triple edition that it called the “largest Sunday newspaper coupon insert in company history.”
Things have also changed more recently. After SmartSource’s two largest clients jumped ship to Save last year, several other manufacturers who were offering coupons in SmartSource inserts last year – including Cetaphil maker Galderma, and Dulcolax maker Boehringer Ingelheim – now have their offers in this Sunday’s Save instead.
At any rate, here is a preview of the coupons in both inserts to look out for.
