After one week with a SmartSource and another week with a Save insert, this weekend we’ll see neither, as there will be no inserts in your upcoming Sunday newspaper.
Then again, maybe there will. Newspaper recipients in parts of the Northeast U.S. are scheduled to receive a special annual “Kids 360” coupon insert, a seasonal food-themed coupon collection that has come out on the first Sunday of November in recent years. There are previews floating around online, which always get a lot of people’s hopes up for a bonus insert, only to have their hopes dashed when they don’t get one.
So if you live in the Northeast and get a coupon insert this weekend, consider it a nice surprise. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait til next week for your inserts to return.
While you wait, you can search our coupon database for additional coupons to tide you over. And be sure to look at the latest cash-back offers from Ibotta, Checkout 51 or Makeena for additional savings, or check out Merryfield or Fetch to see how you can turn your receipts into gift cards!
And for those keeping count, this is the fifteenth weekend of the year without any coupon inserts at all. So it’s been a spotty year when it comes to the availability of printed coupons. Let’s hope that changes soon – because with Thanksgiving and then the holiday season coming up, we’ll need all the savings we can get.
