It’s that time of year – just as you finish up your holiday shopping and wrap your gifts, your Sunday newspaper will be arriving at your home empty-handed.
There will be no coupon inserts this week or next, as SmartSource and Save take their traditional two-week, end-of-the-year break.
This will be the first time since 2018 that there have been two weeks in a row without any insert coupons. Typically, Procter & Gamble fills the void on the last weekend of the year while SmartSource and Save are still on their holiday break. But the vagaries of the calendar this year means that the P&G brandSAVER won’t be out until January 1st.
And don’t forget, that January brandSAVER is going to be the last, as P&G has confirmed it is discontinuing its printed coupon inserts in the new year.
