According to a new survey from Consumer Reports that ranks 62 of the country's top grocery chains, these 16 are at the very bottom of the list.

We've flipped the list on its head, to rank the stores from the bottom up. So, in order from bad to worst, here are the stores that more than 50,000 respondents said they were least impressed with, and why - with some help from the wonderfully snarky and brutally honest reviewers on Yelp.com.

11. Winn-Dixie

“If you want a 1970s grocery experience with 2017 inflation prices, feel free to shop here!” a Yelp reviewer writes.

Consumer Reports readers are similarly unimpressed with this Southern chain, placing it at number 11 among the worst grocery stores.

“Winn-Dixie looks so flashy and nice on the outside, but that’s just a cover for its ugly inside,” a disappointed shopper reports.

“No selection, misleading sale prices – the sale ended two days ago – and long, long lines with no baggers,” another complains.

And one shopper wonders about the point of it all: “I’m not sure what Winn-Dixie’s intention is… but it doesn’t seem to include gaining customers and increasing sales.”
