It seems lately that the publication of Sunday coupon inserts is becoming an every-other-week occasion.
Your Sunday newspaper contained two inserts last weekend, and none the weekend before. There were two inserts the weekend before that, and none the week before. And now, it’s once again an off week, as there will be no coupons in the paper this weekend either.
You have to go back to the first two weekends of March to find the last time your Sunday paper contained any coupon inserts for at least two weeks in a row.
Instead, this now becomes the sixth weekend out of 17 so far this year, when there have been no coupon inserts at all. That means you’ve had a two-in-three chance so far to find any savings in your Sunday newspaper.
